Truth be told, I'm not into Valentine's Day. Yes, I'm sad and alone and it reminds me of it. HAHA. But also because I think it's a waste of money.
But...I did want to wish my blog readers a very Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you like my little card I made using the digital Olive edition of Project Life.

Stephanie, I am married and not alone, but I, too, think Valentine's Day is stupid. It's just a commercial event in my mind. My married sons typically do not take their wives out on Valentine's Day because everywhere is so crowded and overpriced. I say honor the love in your life every day! You are a beautiful and talented young lady, and I'm glad to know you!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's sad at all to not be a fan of Valentine's day. It's so consumerised (no idea if that's even a word!). I've been with my partner for almost 4 years now, and while we do go out for dinner, we don't do presents or cards or flowers or chocolates or any of that stuff. The way I see it, it should be about spending time with someone you love, not spending lots of money! I always thought I was alone on this view, so thank you for sharing this!
